A superhero fantasy about a small koi who wants to protect others.
Koji was small enough to be overlooked and stubborn enough to object when someone else was. In his garden pond, he had a habit of putting himself between the smaller fish and anyone who wanted to bully them.
One day, a group of bullies came to the pond and started picking on the smaller fish. Koji tried to intervene, but he was no match for the bullies. They pushed him around, and he ended up getting hurt.
After the bullies hurt him, Koji began practicing quick turns, steady swimming and ways to help a friend escape. He worked hard, but there was still a limit to what one small koi could do. Then he found the glowing rock.
One day, Koji discovered a strange glowing rock in the pond. As he approached it, he felt a sudden surge of energy coursing through his body. Koji realized that the rock had given him incredible powers, and he decided to use them to become a superhero.
With his newfound powers, Koji set out to protect his pond and all the fish in it. He fought off the bullies and chased away any predators that threatened the peace of the pond. Koji became a legend among the other fish, and they all looked up to him as their protector.
As Koji continued his superhero work, he noticed that there were other ponds in the world that were not as lucky as his. There were ponds where the fish were mistreated, and their homes were polluted by humans. Koji knew that he had to help these fish, too.
So, Koji set out on a journey to travel the world and help other fish in need. He used his powers to fight pollution, stop fishermen from overfishing, and protect other ponds from predators. Koji became known as the Superhero Fish, and his legend spread far and wide.
In the end, Koji returned to his own pond, where he continued to protect his friends and live a peaceful life. But every once in a while, when danger threatened, Koji would put on his superhero suit and take to the water, ready to fight for justice and the safety of all fish.
Whenever the pond grew quiet, Koji put away his superhero suit and swam beside his friends. He liked that part best. A good day, he decided, was one on which nobody needed rescuing.
